We are living in an exciting time with more and more options in health care for our pets. I am so proud to be a team member of a hospital that encourages integrative medicine for our patients. We routinely offer alternatives such as vaccine titre testing, nutraceuticals, and homeopathic treatments. 

​

I have been with Chidiac Animal Hospital since February of 2005. My role is to ensure the smooth running of the business which often means that I am hiding away in my office. The highlight of my day is to take a break and go through the hospital and say Hi! to the patients and clients who are here. 

​

​I have been involved with dog breeding, showing and training since 1981. I have owned and bred Standard Poodles and Golden Retrievers who achieved many titles including Neo who was the top show Golden in Canada in 2009. In addition, I come from a background of customer service and finance so it was a natural fit for me to manage the hospital for Dr. Chidiac.

​When I am not at work I can be found hanging out with my dogs. In the warmer weather, I attend lure coursing trials with my dogs Gypsy, Django and Justus. I also enjoy baking up a storm!

 

I volunteer for Midland's women shelter, Huronia Transition Homes where I have served on the board of directors since 2021. I also participate in dragon boat races with the Barrie Ribbons of Hope breast cancer survivor team.
